Dear Cobra fans,
Our great gathering will take place in one month now and we all are looking forward to it.
84 cars are registered yet including 73 Cobras and, of course, we are still waiting for several late arrivals…
Most of you will arrive on the 6th and 7th, but some will be here as soon as may 4th!
Some will arrive alone, some have planned to drive in little groups which certainly will be great fun.
Rendez-vous and hotels on the way have kindly been arranged by Thomas from Austria, Nigel from Germany and Chris fron England.
Just have a look in the rendez vous section on the webpage www.accobra.deannual_cobrameeting to see all their informations about this and directly contact them should you whish to join them.
Our main hotel is now fully booked but accomodation is still availlable in other hotels or B&B in the area.
Those of you who will not stay at the main hotel are nevertheless welcome to share evening meals and entertainments with us but they have to reserve now.
The cost is 16€ per dinner per person, and payment will have to be done on site.
Please just send us a mail claudie.mousset@wanadoo.fr before april 20th indicating which evenings and how many meals you whish to reserve.
Attached is a map showing our meeting point friday may 7th afternoon.
We will welcome you there from 2pm till 8pm on the wide shaded Ramatuelle tennis parking.

Notre grand rassemblement aura lieu dans un mois et nous l’attendons tous avec grande impatience.
84 autos sont inscrites dont 73 Cobras et, bien sûr, nous attendons encore plusieurs retardataires…
La plupart d’entre vous arriveront le 6 et le 7, mais quelques-uns seront là dès le 4 mai!
Certains rouleront seuls, d’autre ont prévu de rouler en petits groupes, ce qui sera certainement sympa.
Des points de rendez-vous et des hôtels en route ont été aimablement prévus par Thomas depuis l’Autriche, Nigel d’Allemagne & Chris d’Angleterre.

Notre hôtel est maintenant complet mais il y a encore des possibilités d’hébergement dans d’autres hôtels ou gîtes à proximité.
Ceux d’entre vous qui ne séjourneront pas à l’hôtel sont néanmoins bienvenus pour partager les dîners et les soirées avec nous mais ils doivent réserver maintenant.
Le repas coûte 16€ par personne et devra être payé sur place.
Envoyez-nous simplement un mail de réservation claudie.mousset@wanadoo.fr avant le 20 avril précisant quels soirs et combien de repas.
Ci-joint une carte indiquant notre point de rendez-vous vendredi 7 mai dans l’après midi.
Nous vous y acceuillerons de 14h à 20h sur le grand parking ombragé des tennis de Ramatuelle.

Sorry
Today I received a call from Nicole Weineck who had recently announced the participation of the 14 litre Weineck – Cobra. Today she informed me that due to a family celebration their participation is not possible. I am very soory about that.
If you did not know what this car can do have a look at youtube, absolutely incredible!

Tell me, what is the point living in the south of France?
Here’s one of the Cobra roads as it was last sunday and as it is still now!
We’ll have to drive again over it when in the Verdon glens in less than 3 months.
Let’s simply hope that famous global warming will have come back then!
If it has not, don’t forget your tyre chains in may!
